Anyone who has bothered to read more than three words off my website knows I'm a ruthless conservative. Remember that, because we get lumped in with the republicans way too much for my taste. Admittedly, we have to vote that way due to the socialism that has taken over the democrat party. What happened to dems being strong on national defense and low taxes? That's a rant for another time.

We lost the 2006 mid term election. GET THE FUCK OVER IT. If you want to whine and cry, go ahead, but I'm looking at the positives. Every war-time president in history, regardless of party affiliation, has lost massive amounts of seats in Congress. Bush followed this same pattern but lost less seats than any war time president in history, so that has to be good for something. What really gets on my nerves is what has happened since the election. Throwing Rumsfeld under the bus.

This could be the worst mistake the republicans have made since 9/11, and there have been plenty.

1. They hung Bush out on Social Security reform. Anyone watching the stock market in the last two years can tell you what a success that would have been. The Dow Jones and Nasdaq both reaching record highs, and the SS system is still going broke. The dems' fix - raise the retirement age. So even though I pay into this system my entire life, I will probably never see a god damned dime. Fuck you, republicans.

2. Dubai Ports. What a fucking bunch of retards. After 9/11, we really want a bunch of towelheads from a country that supports terrorists guarding our ports and inspecting our cargo. Would you feel safe knowing Borat was the only person protecting you from a dirty bomb coming into this country? Me neither. Then these fools turn on each other like wild dogs as if they didn't know what was going on. And they said Kerry was a flip-flopper.

3. The issue that probably sent the biggest message to conservatives the republicans had abandoned us was the nomination of Harriet Myer to the supreme court. I still don't have any idea who the fuck she is. Conservatives showed their voice and Myers went away, but Bush played into the hands of the democrats again. Instead of nominating an African-American or a woman (both of which would have been filled with the wonderfully qualified Janice Rogers-Brown), he nominates a lilly-white rich guy. Way to prove the dems are right, fool.

4. Bush steps in it again with the death of Chief Justice William Rehnquist. Instead of promoting the wonderful Clarence Thomas to the highest position on the court, he nominates John Roberts, the affore-mentioned lilly-white rich guy. WTF? I understand he wanted to put someone in place on the court who would be there for a very long time, but Thomas still would have been the better choice. It also would have gone a long way to end the "republicans are racist" line the dems love to use. What a fuckstick. Right there, he could have been credited to not only placing a woman on the supreme court, but two African-Americans. That would have gone a long way to changing the public perception of the republican party. You can do much more to fix the court by keeping your party in power than by putting one or two conservatives on the bench. More positions will be opening soon, and now Bush won't have the power to get his choices confirmed. Hello, liberal justices!

Now Bush has done exactly what every lib from Michael Moore to Aaron McGruder constantly accuses him of. Lying to the American people. If he were going to fire Rummy, be a man and admit it. If it was a kneejerk reaction, then Bush is a bigger pussy than I thought. The only times his numbers go up is when he tells the left to suck it, but he spends too much time trying to suck theirs. I honestly think it was a mutual decision to save Rumsfeld form all the bullshit the democrats have in store for the administration. Which is why I can sort of give W a pass on this one.

I can show no mercy to the republican party leadership for railing Bush for not firing Rummy before the elction. As if firing Rumsfeld would have helped a group of assholes who couldn't even keep the spanish speaking hobbits south of the border out of the country. They were dragged kicking and screaming into voting for 700 miles of fence along a 2,000 mile border, and then didn't even fund it. You bitches lost. Get all your shit and get the fuck out. The dems don't want you in there, and neither do conservatives like me. The last time I saw a group of politicians this ineffective was in Star Wars III.
