I rarely watch American Idol, but due to the fact I live in a house with extreme amounts of estrogen present at all times, I do see it from time to time. This season has exposed a seriously fucked up part of American society. We are assholes.

Sanjaya Malakar. This guy can actually sing, but chooses not to. I guess it's some weird experiment, but who can really tell? Either his ears developed massive infections after he made the top 20, or he's trying to subvert American society. I don't know. All I do know is this dumb shit should have gone home weeks ago.

But he stays week after week, and has only been in the bottom three once. He certainly hasn't earned the votes. At least 2 of his performances seemed to have been intentionally thrown, as if he knew already what I have come to understand - people will continue to vote for him just to piss folks like me off. Anyone I talk to that wants him off the show is mad as hell, and usually has a co-worker or two that voted for Sanjaya just to piss that person off. OKAY, YOU SUCCEEDED ASSMUNCH - JOKES OVER!

Why does America have to be subjected to this pissant's presence on the airwaves? To the bafflement of even Ryan Seacrestgayboy, it seems many are voting for him because they know it irks the sane Americans among us. They laugh and laugh at our distress and anguish at having to endure performers with talent being sent home while this giant-eyebrowed hack continues to live the good life at American consumers' expense.

That's right - you are footing all of Sanjaya's bills. Anytime you buy a product that is advertised on "Idol", you put a little more coin in this shlub's pockets. William Hung had more talent and a better personality. Clay Aiken is more manly. Brian Dunkleman had an easier to spell name. And still this little dweeb continues to remain - nay, thrive - on a program designed to highlight the best qualities and attributes of singers who otherwise never would have had a chance to even be noticed, then separate the wheat from the chaff and discharge the weaker talents back into obscurity. Face it, when Paula doesn't have anything good to say about your performance, it's time to go. Randy can say nothing more than "dog, wtf", and Simon actually has started to compliment his performances simply to illustrate the absurdity of his continued presence.

Simply because some people think it's funny to piss the rest of us off.
